The area

Jomtien

Jomtien is the beach town on the far side of Pratumnak Hill, about 3 km south of central Pattaya and run as part of Pattaya City. Its beach is about 6 km long, with Jomtien Beach Road on the sand and Jomtien Second Road about 400 m inland. Most homes here are condos, from beach-road towers to low-rise resort blocks off Thepprasit Road, and the area has a large community of expat retirees who live here all year.
