Olympus City Garden Pattaya

Olympus City Garden, also known as City Garden Olympus, is a resort-style condominium complex on Soi Kho Pai 4, just off South Pattaya Road. It was developed by Global Top Group Co., Ltd., the Pattaya company behind City Garden Tower nearby. Instead of one tall tower, the project spreads six eight-storey buildings across about 8 rai of land, with 1,060 units and a long list of shared pools and gardens. 09Wi can check which units are available to rent or buy, send photos and book a viewing for you.

Location and access

The complex sits on Soi Kho Pai 4 (you will also see it spelled Khopai or Kor Phai), about 70 m from Pattaya 3rd Road. Residents can come and go from South Pattaya Road as well as from Soi Kho Pai, which gives a choice of routes at busy times. The address is in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung district, between Central and South Pattaya. Our South Pattaya area guide covers the wider neighbourhood.

By road from the complex, the south end of Pattaya Beach and the Walking Street gate are each about 2 km away, Big C Supercenter South Pattaya about 2.3 km, Central Festival Pattaya Beach about 2.8 km and Thepprasit Night Market about 3.3 km. Several streets here are one-way, so some return trips are longer.

The complex and its facilities

The site covers about 8 rai, roughly 12,800 square metres, and the six buildings are each eight storeys high. Shared facilities are the main draw. There are several swimming pools, including a very large main pool, plus jacuzzis, saunas and steam rooms. Open-air sky gyms sit on the roofs, and there is a yoga room, a jogging track and themed gardens at ground level. Shops and cafes are on site, and security runs 24 hours with key-card access and CCTV.

Units are studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom condos, mostly about 24 to 55 square metres. Some owners have joined neighbouring units into larger homes of about 60 to 70 square metres, which appear on the market from time to time.

Who Olympus City Garden suits

A low-rise complex with this many pools suits people who spend time at home and want resort facilities a short walk from the door. The compact units work for singles and couples on a long stay, digital nomads who want a gym and a pool for breaks, and retirees who would rather not depend on long lift rides. Two-bedroom and combined units give families more room. With eight storeys at most, the buildings do not offer high-floor views, so if a view from high up matters to you, compare it with City Garden Tower, about 200 m away.

What to check before you rent or buy

  • Which building the unit is in and what it overlooks: a pool, a garden or the road outside the complex. Ask for photos taken from the balcony.
  • Ground-floor units: privacy from the gardens and paths, and how the unit stays dry in the rainy season.
  • The walk from the unit to the car park, the lifts and the gate you will use most, since the site is large.
  • For renters: deposit, minimum term, and whether electricity and water are charged at the government rate.
  • For buyers: the common fee is charged per square metre, so ask for the exact monthly amount and the sinking fund for that unit, and check whether it can be registered in a foreign name.
  • House rules on pets and short stays, which are set by the juristic office.
